From: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Valerie Anne Autostraddle Each episode drops more puzzle pieces, and I’ve been having a hell of a time trying to put them together. Jun 27, 2023 Full Review From: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) David Whelan Slate I’m not going to pretend that From is a perfect work of television. But for whatever criticism one can lob at it -- that it’s a miasma of phobias, black holes, and loopholes -- From undeniably works as an exemplar of its genre. Jun 27, 2023 Full Review From: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Meagan Navarro Bloody Disgusting Full-throttle pacing, incredibly high stakes, enigmatic horrors, and an immensely talented cast exploring the murky grey areas of morality make for one of the most thrilling horror series that shouldn’t be missed. Rated: 4/5 Apr 17, 2023 Full Review From: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Petr Navovy Pajiba All of the cast do good work, enriching the scares with a vital humanity, but Perrineau owns every square centimetre of the screen throughout. Dec 1, 2023 Full Review From: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Kristen Maldonado Pop Culture Planet You’ll feel spooked and there are some really good jump scares, plus there’s very high stakes. You don’t know who will survive, or even where these characters really are — that alone will have you hooked. Jul 27, 2023 Full Review From: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Jared Mobarak Hey, Have You Seen ...? A lot of crucial mythology is therefore revealed even if most of what happens exists as distraction. It's about five episodes worth of plot development spread over ten episodes that sustains itself because of the characters. Rated: 6/10 Jun 16, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Adam S Intriguing… it will make you question everything. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/28/24 Full Review colby b I love this show!! How did I pass this show up so many times?!? I actually watched season 1 and I wasn’t sure how much I liked it. Then I watched it again, and again, and again! Trust me, just keep watching! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/25/24 Full Review Colby B Man, what a season! I love this show so much that I genuinely mourn the moment that it ends. Ignore the whiners who have the attention span of a worm, “we need answers”, these are kids who could not make it two chapters in a book without going to YouTube for spoilers and cliff notes. This story is a puzzle that delivers! All the answers start piling in and obviously MORE QUESTIONS COME BECAUSE THATS WHAT MAKES THIS FUN!!! Some folks just struggle with putting things together and the find themselves too frustrated. The clues are everywhere and you can either take the detective approach and try to figure it out or you can just let the story come to you. If you were born after 2000 and you are used to a 3 minute google search telling you everything, you might find yourself saying things like, “wahhh, this is really unfair and I need more answers…I’m going to stop watching if they don’t give the entire show away…I’m going to slam this show in the reviews so the whole world knows I have the attention span of a far& in the wind”. I’m not all that great at figure things out and I love trying, but I’m also just fine with the writers delivering the answers as they see fit. I am through season 3 and I assure you, after 3, you will know 90% of your questions. Don’t cheat, watch the whole thing. It’s such a great show! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/25/24 Full Review Audience Member Season 2 episode 9, and there are, once again, more questions and no answers. At this point it is frustrating. It seems the creators lost track of the plot if there ever was a finished and coherent full script to begin with. The drawings from first season are no longer used, the spider thing was abandoned. The whole of season one to talk to a person on a radio just seems like a waste of time now.Tons of plot moments were never talked about again and left to vacation time in the blister of the showrunner's poopy asshole. It seems they hoped the viewer would just forget so they could introduce the newest piece of bullshit the senior writer came up with in the last writers zoom meeting while he was shitting in the toilet playing chess. Bottom line, this show is messier than my last diarrhea. My sense of completion pushes me to keep watching, but now I finish each new episode more flustered than the last. Fuck this show. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/23/24 Full Review Kari P Too much Peyton Place. More drama les horror. Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/20/24 Full Review Jerad W Considering investing 24+ Hrs of your precious time in the TV Show 'FROM' (?) This Breakdown/Review explains this Show perfectly: " The highly anticipated series "FROM" has unfortunately become a prime example of wasted potential in the realm of mystery dramas. Over the course of 3 painstakingly slow Seasons, viewers have been led through a maze of unanswered questions and unfulfilled promises, leaving even the most patient audience members exasperated. Narrative Stagnation: The show's creators seem to have mastered the art of narrative stagnation. Each episode feels like a repetitive exercise in futility, with plot development moving at a glacial pace. The third season, in particular, stands out as a pinnacle of disappointment, offering little more than a string of vapid dialogues and inconsequential events. Dialogue Dilemma: One of the most glaring issues plaguing "From" is its dialogue. What should be engaging conversations between characters often devolve into mind-numbing exchanges that neither advance the plot nor provide meaningful character development. It's as if the writers have forgotten the basic tenets of compelling storytelling. The Art of Non-Revelation: Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of "From" is its steadfast refusal to provide any satisfying answers to its central mysteries. Three seasons in, and viewers are left with more questions than when they started. This approach might work for a single season, but as the show progresses, it becomes increasingly clear that the creators are more interested in prolonging the mystery than crafting a coherent narrative. Conclusion: In a television landscape brimming with innovative and engaging content, "From" stands out for all the wrong reasons. It's a cautionary tale of how not to structure a mystery series, leaving viewers feeling cheated of their time and emotional investment. For those considering diving into this series, be warned: you're in for a frustrating journey that may lead nowhere. Rating: 1/10 "FROM" serves as a stark reminder that creating suspense is not just about withholding information, but about crafting a compelling narrative that keeps viewers genuinely intrigued. Unfortunately, this series fails on both counts, cementing its place as one of the most disappointing shows of the past decade.
