The Archivists' Codex faction can be found in Korthiaand offers a variety of optional quality-of-life upgrades when exploring thezone, much like Ve'nari in The Maw. Also like Venari, this reputationfaction will be your source of adding sockets to gear and an extra way toupgrade your Conduits in Patch 9.1.

• The new quest Relic Clues at Tier 3 offers a 10% chance of lootingdouble the normal amount of Relic Fragments from mobs and rares, and itincreases the average amount of Relics dropped from mobs, rares, and quests.
• The Relic Efficiency quest that is unlocked at Tier 4 now also increasesthe amount of Relics that drop from creatures, daily quests, and the weeklyShaping Fate quest.
• The new quest Relic Hunter at Tier 5 increases the chance of double Relicsfrom 10% to 40%, and it increases the average amount of Relics dropped frommobs, rares, and quests even further.
• All Treatises and Research Report Item unlocks are now Account-Wide. Onceyou have reached Tier 6 on one character, you can purchase them on an alt andreap the benefits.
• Upon reaching a high enough rank, Archivist Roh-Suir will offer the questPractical Applications to unlock the ability to deposit Reservoir Anima from Korthia.
• A new weekly quest, Lost Research, allows you to collect itemswithin the Rift phase for bonus reputation and Cataloged Research.

The Archivists' Codex is unlocked after completing Chapter 2 of the Chains ofDomination Campaign called Maw Walkers which also unlocks thezone of Korthia. After unlockingKorthia, you can visit Scholar Roh Suir in the Seeker's Quorum to startyour first questline with Archivists' Codex. Once you have completed it, you canstart turning in Relic Fragments obtained from the sources listedfurther below in this guide.

To unlock the campaign and get started, you must have completed thefollowing:

1. Kill Sire Denathrius on any difficulty.
2. Completed all Torghast rescue quests, ending with The CaptiveKing.
3. Completed all of the Torghast Storyline quests, ending withThe Jailer's Grasp.

To check if you have completed steps 2 and 3, you can use the followingcommands to check if the appropriate quests have been completed:

• /script print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(61730))

• /script print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(62569))

If the above steps are completed, you will receive the first quest of thePatch 9.1 Campaign when you log in after the release of Patch 9.1 on June29th/30th, depending on your region.

Chapter 1 of the Chains of Domination Campaign consists of 7 quests, endingwithReport to Oribos. Chapter 2 of the campaign consists of 9 quests, endingwith In Need of Assistance.

Reputation exclusively comes from collecting Relic Fragments.These are obtained from Rares and Treasures inKorthia, and as you progressthrough the Ranks with Archivists' Codex, you can obtain them more quickly.

Turning in Relic Fragments grants you only 0.5 Reputation withArchivists' Codex per Fragment. You also get Cataloged Research which isa new Faction-specific Currency in Patch 9.1.

Unlike most Reputations in the game, Archivists' Codex works on a Ranksystem. Similar to Ve'nari, when you reach anew Reputation threshold, you will not get Honored/Revered/Exalted, but willinstead get Rank 2, 3, 4, and so on.

Relic Fragment turn-ins grant Cataloged Research which canbe used to purchase Codex upgrades from Archivist Roh-Suir. Theseupgrades can be anything from unlocking teleports in Korthia, opening uniqueChests, upgrading crafted or World Quest Items and rewards, and more.

Research Report: Careful Examination	4	4000	Permanent upgrade that increases all Cataloged Research gains from Relic Fragments by 50%.
Treatise: Recognizing Stygia and its Uses	4	2000	Permanent upgrade that gives you 10 extra Stygia when you completea the Maw Daily or kill a Maw Rare.
Research Report: Ancient Shrines	5	1000	Permanent upgrade that allows you access to hidden Relic treasures viaAncient Shrines in Korthia.
Treatise: The Study of Anima and Harnessing Every Drop	5	2000	Permanent upgrade that gives you 15 additional Reservoir Anima whenyou complete a World Quest or kill a rare anywhere in the Shadowlands.
Research Report: Relic Finding Techniques	5	5000	Permanent upgrade that gives you a 20% chance to find extra Relic Fragments when looting Treasures or Rares in Korthia.
Treatise: Relics Abound in the Shadowlands	6	2000	Permanent upgrade that gives you a chance of looting Reputation tokens forother Shadowlands factions when completing World Quests in their zones. Forexample, a chance at looting Night Fae reputation tokens from Ardenweald WorldQuests.
Research Report: Relic Examination Techniques	6	2500	Permanent upgrade item that can be sent to an alt to increase its reputationgain from Relics and Relic Fragments by 50%.
Research Report: Adaptive Alloys	6 (and Renown 61)	4000	Allows you to upgrade Korthia Daily/Weekly Quest Items to Item Level 226(Rank 5). See more info below.

Death-Bound Shard	6	3000	Upgrades one of your lowest item level Conduits, up to 252. This is thePatch 9.1 version of the Unbound Reality Fragment
Alloy-Warping Facetor	6	5000	Adds a socket to a Shadowlands Season 2 item that does not already have one.Can be used on Helms, Necks, Bracers, Belts, or Rings. This is the Patch 9.1version of Spatial Realignment Apparatus.
Soaring Razorwing	6	5000	Mount

In addition to being able to purchase the Alloy-Warping Facetor for Cataloged Research, you can alsopurchase it for 1000 Soul Cinders. These drop on higher Layers ofTorghast, and the best part is that you do not need any Archivists'Codex Reputation to purchase sockets with this currency.

A big feature in Patch 9.1 will be "catch-up" gear from Korthia. This is gearthat starts out at Item Level 207, but can be upgraded to 233.

Here are all the ways of obtaining Korthia Catch-Up Gear that we know of sofar:

• Daily Quests in Korthia (Random Piece, Not Guaranteed)
• Covenant Assault War Chests (Random Piece, Not Guaranteed)
• The Shaping Fate Korthia Weekly Quest (Random Piece, Guaranteed)
• Purchased from Duchess Mynx in Keeper's Respite for 1000 Stygia via Korthian Armaments.

Importantly, the purchasable Korthian Armaments Item can be mailed toyour alts to catch them up on gear.

It is also possible to use Cataloged Research to upgrade the itemsobtained from Daily and Weekly Quests in Korthia.
